Comparing Adjectives File Folder Game 1

Help students learn ordering adjectives (degrees of comparison) with this fun file folder game. There are two gameboard versions included. In version 1, students match the puzzle piece that has pictures with the adjective (or the comparative / superlative form). In version 2, students put the puzzle pieces in order over the adjective.

Also included is a recording sheet so students can practice spelling and writing adjectives in the comparative and superlative form.

This is a fun way to learn new vocabulary and practice spelling patterns. The pictures make this ideal for ELLs.

The adjectives included are:
tall, taller, tallest
old, older, oldest
young, younger, youngest
sad, sadder, saddest
angry, angrier, angriest
dirty, dirtier, dirtiest
