Reading Task Cards & Digital Passages

Each card includes a short passage about a nonfiction topic. The passages are written using simple language and include examples of facts and opinions.

In the digital version, there are instructions on how to highlight text and space for students to type the facts and opinions from the passage.

Sorting Cards Print & Digital

Sorting cards with one fact and one opinion about a range of topics. In the digital version, students drag the cards onto a sorting mat with pictures.

Speaking/Writing Picture Task Cards Print & Digital

Choose from either clip art (in color and black and white) or color photographs for students to practice creating their own facts and opinions. Two levels are included: one with only the picture and one set with a word bank of nouns, adjectives, and verbs to assist students in coming up with sentences.
