Long Vowel Newcomer Phonics Practice

Do you work with older newcomer students in upper elementary? Do they need an overview of long vowels that includes vocabulary and is age appropriate? Then this set is just what you need.

There are 11 lessons included. Each lesson focuses on one long vowel sound (with the exception of the lesson on open syllables). They practice phonemic awareness skills by identifying the long vowel sound, read words, read sentences, and spell words. There are also letter tracing sheets included. A teacher's guide is also included.
