Introduce vowel sounds using pictures. The images help ELLs understand the vocabulary that is used. Pictures also allow students to focus on listening to the sound of the target phoneme instead of only looking at how the word is spelled.

Differentiated Sorting Cards

Three versions of sorting cards are included. Set one has the picture and the word, set two has only the picture, and set three only has the words.

No Prep Practice Pages

There are three levels of practice pages for each word. Level one provides students with the letters to spell each word and lines for each letter. Level two shows the lines. Level three only shows the picture.
