Winter Activities Sequencing Practice

Do your students need practice with oral langue, reading and writing skills? Use these materials to help students read or listen, sequence, speak and write about winter activities. The pictures are helpful for ELLs and emergent writers.

Picture Cards
Students sequence the cards of winter activities. The activities are

• throwing a snowball
• making a snowman
• making hot chocolate
• going skiing
• going ice fishing
• sledding
• putting on a snowsuit
• getting dressed to go outside in the snow
• making soup

The picture cards come in color and black and white.

Reading Sheets
Each activity comes with two sequencing reading sheets at two different reading levels, in color and black and white. You can also use these sheets for listing practice if the text is too challenging for students.

Graphic Organizers
Each activity comes with two differentiated graphic organizers. They come with or without a word bank.

Writing Pages
Each activity has a writing page for students to produce a longer writing piece.
