Arctic Animal Life Cycles Speak then Write Print and Digital

Use these materials to help students speak and write about arctic animal life cycles.

Included are picture cards in color and black and white for 7 animal life cycles along with a mat to place them in order. The animals are: Arctic fox, harp seal, puffin, reindeer, walrus, snowy owl, polar bear.

There are 3 levels of graphic organizers for each animal. One with the animals in order and a word bank, one where students cut out and place the animals in order with a word bank and one where students cut out and place the animals in order.

Questions and sentence starters are also included to guide students' conversations. There are writing pages for each animal's life cycle. Perfect for ELL learners to practice oral language and writing skills.

Digital

The digital version includes sequencing slides where students move the life cycle images into order, graphic organizers with word banks, and typing pages with or without a word box. Students will need access to a Google account to complete these life cycle activities. It is editable and able to be viewed by screen readers.
